Hey there — I’m Vivek Srivastava.
A Software Engineer, Architect & Team Leader by profession, but at heart? Just a curious builder on a mission to solve tough problems with elegant tech.
Over the past 5+ years, I’ve architected systems that scale and automated the boring stuff (because who has time for manual grunt work?). I’ve led diverse engineering teams and explored how AI and data can make products genuinely smarter. I believe in building for the long haul — clean code, rock-solid infra, and teams that actually look forward to showing up each day.
And yes, I get weirdly excited about a perfectly tuned CI/CD pipeline
What I love working on
1. Software Architecture & Engineering
- Designing microservices, event-driven flows, and API contracts that are a joy to work with.
- Writing Pythonic, maintainable code — from Django to Celery distributed tasks.
- Running postmortems to learn (and teach) from the inevitable surprises.
2. Cloud & DevOps
- Scaling products on AWS with multi-account strategies, IAM best practices, and Terraform.
- Automating everything: CI/CD, IaC, cost alerts, observability with ELK & Prometheus.
- Architecting systems that survive spikes, not just sunny days.
3. AI / ML / Gen AI
- We are moving beyond the hype. Our goal is to ship practical ML & Gen AI features. These features will personalize and summarize. They will also make the user’s life easier.
- Tinkering with LangChain, Keras, vector databases — and finding the right balance between experimentation & ROI.
4. Leadership & Team Growth
- Building a culture where engineers feel ownership, trust each other, and grow their skills (not just ship tickets).
- Mentoring folks on clean code, architecture takeoffs, or just navigating tech careers.
5. Product & Strategy
- Bridging the gap between engineers and business goals.
- Saying no (or at least, “not yet”) when the architecture says so.
- Turning vague ideas into well-scoped, deliverable projects.
6. Personal Growth & Productivity
- Learning something every day — new AWS patterns, leadership frameworks, or hacks to keep my dev environment humming.
- Managing time to stay hands-on while guiding a team.
